In our sessions, you can expect a confidential and judgement-free environment where we can openly discuss your needs and explore the symptoms you may be experiencing. My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I love to laugh and find it is very therapeutic. I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to the table. My passion lies in meeting you exactly where you are, acknowledging life’s unpredictability, and guiding you through the messy moments.
Using an assortment of evidence based clinical techniques, I believe our thoughts can change our actions. Depending on your needs and preferences, I may utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Techniques (DBT), Motivational Interviewing techniques, trauma relief techniques, guided imagery, and mindfulness. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified Addiction Professional (CAP), Qualified Supervisor (QS) and Consultant. I am also trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
